Ability to email Reporting Space PDFs directly to families

This feature is available to schools and districts licensing SpacesEDU Pro + Reporting Add-On

It’s now even easier for families to view their student’s progress (without needing to sign in) as teachers can share the Reporting Space PDF directly. 

Within the Reporting Space settings menu, teachers can now choose to download or email the report. After selecting students, teachers can email families:

• A secure “Download Report” link
• A “View Report on SpacesEDU” link that will take them directly to the student’s Reporting Space 

This means a more streamlined way to communicate progress with families, and ensuring timely access to reports while reducing friction for families that may not regularly use SpacesEDU. 

Note: Download links expire after one month, but can be re-sent at any time.

The “All Work Feed” is now “All Class Posts”

This feature is available to schools and districts licensing SpacesEDU Pro

We’ve renamed “All Work Feed” to “All Class Posts” and moved it to the Classes tab, making it easier for students to find all of their class posts in one place. Students will still find all of their class post content here, regardless of whether the class is active or has been archived.

You’ll also see new headers in both Portfolios and Classes for added clarity.

Additional Updates

• Within our mobile apps (iOS and Android), proficiencies provided within portfolio sections will indicate which educator has applied the proficiency in question.
• • Note: This update already exists on the web version of SpacesEDU.. 
• ​​In the mobile app, tapping a push notification now takes you automatically to the correct account (even if you were signed into a different one) so you can view it right away.
• We’ve made select copy changes and language updates on the SpacesEDU platform for enhanced clarity, such as:
• • Updates to French language interactions around the deletion of media attachments.
  • The option to edit the name and details of a Space has been updated to “Edit Space Details” from “Edit Space”.
  • For Reporting Spaces that include attendance data, we are updating from “Tardies” to “Lates”.
