# Can I access a sample student account?

Looking to see what students in your class see? It's easy to add yourself as a student in any of your classes, or activate a Sample Student.

# Adding yourself as a student

If you'd like to set up an account as a 'real' student that will be visible to the rest of your class, allowing you to create posts, comments, and complete activities in the same way as your other students, you can add yourself as a student with just one click!

1. Open the **People** tab within any of your classes
2. Click the toggle to the right of the 'Add your student account?' prompt

That's all there is to it! After completing these steps, you can toggle between Teacher and Student account views by clicking on your avatar (or initials) at the top right of the screen.

* You can create posts and submit activities either by:

* switching to the student account, to see what they look like from a real student's perspective
* or from within your teacher account, by selecting your own name when using the options to add posts or submit activities on a student's behalf
* Once you have added yourself to one class as a student, you can repeat these same steps to join other classes within your account.
* You can also use the Add Class option in the Student interface to join another class with a Class Code.
* If your space settings allow students to see each other's posts and/or comments, any that you create using your student account **will** be visible to other students.

If you'd like to be able to test out creating posts from your teacher account without creating a 'real' student account for yourself, you can also enable the Sample Student option.

To enable the Sample Student, you can either toggle the option on while creating a new class, or enable it for an existing class by:

1. Clicking on your **Class Name** at the top left
2. Clicking **Edit**
3. Toggling on the **Sample Student** option
