# How do I add a co-teacher to my class?

Collaborating with other educators allows for shared planning and assessment of students. SpacesEDU enables you to invite co-teachers to your digital classroom, providing them with the same access and permissions as the primary teacher.

###### Before You Start

* **Access Level:** Co-teachers will have full access to the class, including student work, assessments, and class settings.
* **Email Verification:** Ensure you have the correct school-associated email address for the teacher you wish to invite.
* **Account Status:** The invited teacher will receive an email notification to join the class.
