How do I enable third-party cookies?

A quick guide to access Google Drive's File Picker

Enabling third-party cookies


To make use of Google Drive’s File Picker, you will need to enable third-party cookies for Google Drive within your browser’s permissions. Below you will find a step-by-step guide to enable third-party cookies organized by browser.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the crossed-out eye icon to the right of the address bar.

  2. This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.

  3. You can now click to ‘Allow cookies’.

  4. The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.

To manually enable third-party cookies in Google Chrome (PC and Mac):

  1. Open Chrome Preferences

  2. Select ‘Privacy and security’

  3. Click ‘Cookies and other site data’

  4. Scroll to the bottom, under Customized behaviours, and click ‘Add’ within ’Sites that can always use cookies’

  5. You can now add in the SpacesEDU website. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site

To manually enable third-party cookies in Google Chrome (Mobile):

  1. Click the three dots in the top right

  2. Choose ‘Settings’

  3. Scroll to the ‘Advanced’ section, and select ‘Site settings’

  4. Click ‘Cookies’

  5. Click ‘ADD SITE EXCEPTION’

  6. You can now add in the SpacesEDU website. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site

Edge

  1. Click on the cookie icon to the right of the address bar.

  2. This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.

  3. You can now click to ‘Allow cookies’.

  4. The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.

To manually enable third-party cookies in Edge:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right of the browser

  2. Click ‘Settings’

  3. Select ‘Cookies and site permissions’

  4. Scroll to the ‘Allow’ section, and click ‘Add’ to add SpacesEDU. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site

Firefox

  1. Click on the shield icon to the left of the address bar.

  2. This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.

  3. You can now disable the toggle marked as ‘Enhanced Tracking Protection’.

  4. The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.

Safari

  1. Click the Safari menu from the top toolbar.

  2. Click ‘Preferences’.

  3. Click the Privacy tab.

  4. Uncheck ‘Block all cookies’
