SpacesEDU uses OTIS for Educators for the free Certification Program. OTIS stands for Online Technology and Instructional Sessions, a state-approved virtual professional development platform providing the training, support, and inspiration to help teachers transform learning. Explore the technology, tools, and strategies that can spark student success. OTIS is a convenient and flexible way to fulfill your state-required PD hours!

Educators from all over the world can enroll in the SpacesEDU Certification Program.

To enroll in the Certification Program, simply sign up for a free basic OTIS membership with your professional email.

Yes, after completing every SpacesEDU level on OTIS, you will earn both a badge and a certificate of completion. All badges and certificates can be downloaded directly from your OTIS account after the successful completion of the course.

To access all of your OTIS certificates and/or badges, click on your name in the upper-right corner of the OTIS for Educators platform and then select “Certificate Downloads” or "Badges."

Take as long as you need. Your OTIS for Educators account will track your progress, allowing you to resume where you left off!
