How do I enable third-party cookies?
To utilize the Google Drive File Picker within SpacesEDU, you must enable third-party cookies for Google Drive in your browser settings. This article provides a structured guide for enabling these permissions across major web browsers.
Before You Start
- Third-party cookies are required specifically for the integration between SpacesEDU and Google Drive.
- Enabling these cookies ensures that you can browse and attach files from your Google Drive directly within the SpacesEDU interface.
Updating Permissions by Browser
Google Chrome (Windows / macOS)
Quick Method:
- Click the crossed-out eye icon on the right side of the address bar.
- Select Site not working?.
- Click Allow cookies. The page will reload automatically.

Manual Method:
- Open Chrome Settings (or Preferences).
- Select Privacy and security.
- Click Cookies and other site data.
- Scroll to Customized behaviors and click Add next to "Sites that can always use cookies".
- Enter the SpacesEDU website URL.
- Check the box for Including third-party cookies on this site and click Add.
Google Chrome (Mobile)
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll to the Advanced section and select Site settings.
- Click Cookies.
- Click ADD SITE EXCEPTION.
