How do I enable third-party cookies?

To utilize the Google Drive File Picker within SpacesEDU, you must enable third-party cookies for Google Drive in your browser settings. This article provides a structured guide for enabling these permissions across major web browsers.


Before You Start


  • Third-party cookies are required specifically for the integration between SpacesEDU and Google Drive.
  • Enabling these cookies ensures that you can browse and attach files from your Google Drive directly within the SpacesEDU interface.


Updating Permissions by Browser


Google Chrome (Windows / macOS)


Quick Method:

  1. Click the crossed-out eye icon on the right side of the address bar.
  2. Select Site not working?.
  3. Click Allow cookies. The page will reload automatically.

Manual Method:

  1. Open Chrome Settings (or Preferences).
  2. Select Privacy and security.
  3. Click Cookies and other site data.
  4. Scroll to Customized behaviors and click Add next to "Sites that can always use cookies".
  5. Enter the SpacesEDU website URL.
  6. Check the box for Including third-party cookies on this site and click Add.


Google Chrome (Mobile)

  1. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Advanced section and select Site settings.
  4. Click Cookies.
  5. Click ADD SITE EXCEPTION.
  6. Enter the SpacesEDU website URL.
  7. Check the box for Including third-party cookies on this site and click Add.


Microsoft Edge


Quick Method:

  1. Click the cookie icon on the right side of the address bar.
  2. Select Site not working?.
  3. Click Allow cookies. The page will reload automatically.

Manual Method:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Cookies and site permissions.
  4. Scroll to the Allow section and click Add.
  5. Enter the SpacesEDU website URL.
  6. Check the box for Including third-party cookies on this site and click Add.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the shield icon on the left side of the address bar.
  2. Select Site not working?.
  3. Disable the Enhanced Tracking Protection toggle. The page will reload automatically.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Click the Safari menu in the top toolbar.
  2. Select Settings (or Preferences).
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck Block all cookies.
