How do I enable third-party cookies?
Enabling third-party cookies
To make use of Google Drive’s File Picker, you will need to enable third-party cookies for Google Drive within your browser’s permissions. Below you will find a step-by-step guide to enable third-party cookies organized by browser.
Google Chrome
- Click on the crossed-out eye icon to the right of the address bar.
- This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.
- You can now click to ‘Allow cookies’.
- The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.
To manually enable third-party cookies in Google Chrome (PC and Mac):
- Open Chrome Preferences
- Select ‘Privacy and security’
- Click ‘Cookies and other site data’
- Scroll to the bottom, under Customized behaviours, and click ‘Add’ within ’Sites that can always use cookies’
- You can now add in the SpacesEDU website. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site
To manually enable third-party cookies in Google Chrome (Mobile):
- Click the three dots in the top right
- Choose ‘Settings’
- Scroll to the ‘Advanced’ section, and select ‘Site settings’
- Click ‘Cookies’
- Click ‘ADD SITE EXCEPTION’
- You can now add in the SpacesEDU website. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site

Edge
- Click on the cookie icon to the right of the address bar.
- This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.
- You can now click to ‘Allow cookies’.
- The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.

- Click the three dots in the top right of the browser
- Click ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Cookies and site permissions’
- Scroll to the ‘Allow’ section, and click ‘Add’ to add SpacesEDU. Make sure to check ‘Including third-party cookies on this site’ before you add the site

Firefox
- Click on the shield icon to the left of the address bar.
- This will open a dialog where you can select, ‘Site not working?’.
- You can now disable the toggle marked as ‘Enhanced Tracking Protection’.
- The page will automatically reload and allow third-party cookies on this site alone.

- Click the Safari menu from the top toolbar.
