It’s been a busy winter for the team here at SpacesEDU. Warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate and check out what they’ve been up to this month:
Increased Media limit per Post to 10 (Current max of 3)
Teachers and students will now be able to add up to 10 media attachments into a Post or Activity. That means even more flexibility to add a variety of media into each and every post allowing students to better express themselves.
Private Comments on Individual and Group Spaces
Comments made on Multi-Student Posts to Individual and Group Spaces will be private (viewable only by the teacher, student, and their connected family - depending on visibility settings). This update allows teachers to post to All Students Individual Spaces without the comments and student reflections being visible to other students/families.
'Review and Publish' Student Activity submissions
Allows teachers to publish Activity submissions and feedback to the student's Individual Space on review. Teachers no longer need to wait for all student submissions to be reviewed before publishing the work.
Curriculum Tags filtering for students
Students get access to the same filter panel that teachers have access to on the right side of the Feed, allowing them to work towards their learning goals and review their progress in real-time.
Curriculum Tags on Post Creation
That’s right! Educators can now tag posts with Curriculum Tags as they create posts on behalf of their students. Making it even easier to capture the learning that happens in your classroom and relate it back to your curriculum. Quickly and easily.
SIS/LMS Sync for Districts
SpacesEDU Pro Districts can easily roster their staff and students to SpacesEDU using the OneRoster open standard supported by most SIS/LMS.
