How to allow unsubmitting by students
When creating activities, teachers have the option to allow students to unsubmit their work. To enable this feature, simply toggle on the option to unsubmit in the activity settings.
Enabling this setting will allow students to unsubmit their activity submissions until you have locked or posted the submission.
To unsubmit an activity, students will:
Open the Activities tab
Select the Closed tab
Click on the activity they wish to unsubmit
Click the blue Unsubmit button in the top right corner
Note: When this feature is enabled, the option for teachers to lock submissions will appear in the Quick Review Table drop down menu.
Once a teacher has locked an activity submission, students will no longer be able to resubmit. If the option to unsubmit does not appear for the student, the teacher may have locked or posted the activity.
To lock a submission:
Open the Activities tab
Click on the activity
Select the drop down menu beside the student whose submission you wish to lock and select Lock submission
