Data Visibility and Access


Visibility within SpacesEDU is highly configurable, allowing teachers to maintain a safe and controlled digital classroom.

Student

Private

Students can view their own work and portfolios.

Teacher

Full Access

Teachers can view all student work within their assigned classes.

Family

Restricted

Family members can only view their own child's work if explicitly invited by the teacher.

Peers

Optional

Other students can only view work if the teacher enables peer-viewing settings for the Space.


Data Storage and Security


We utilize industry-leading infrastructure to safeguard student information against unauthorized access.


  • Hosting Provider: All student data is stored on highly secure datacenters and server hosting through Microsoft Azure.
  • Compliance: Microsoft Azure provides industry-leading compliance and privacy certifications to ensure data integrity.
  • Retention Policy: Student data is stored as long as the account remains active.
  • Inactivity Deletion: To protect privacy, we automatically delete student data and accounts after 18 months of inactivity.
