Enabling Camera Permissions
To take advantage of many features within SpacesEDU, you will need to allow access to the camera on your device.
The first time you access your camera from SpacesEDU, a prompt will appear to allow the permission - select Allow, and you are ready to get started. The pop-up may look different depending on the device you are using, but it is typically something like this:
If you have accidentally selected 'block,' or you are encountering issues with capturing photos or videos, follow the instructions for your device/browser below to update permissions.
Google Chrome (Windows / Mac OS)
Log in to your SpacesEDU account
Select the lock icon at the left-hand side of the address bar
Click Site settings
Confirm the Camera and Microphone are set to Allow
Return to your SpacesEDU account and Reload the page
Safari (Mac OS)
Log in to your SpacesEDU account
Click Safari in the top menu bar
Select Settings for this Website...
Set Camera and Microphone to Allow
Reload the page
Safari (iPhone/iPad)
Log in to your SpacesEDU account
Tap the 'aA' button at the top left of the screen
Select Website Settings
Set Camera and Microphone to Allow
Tap Done and reload the page
Edge (Windows)
Log in to your SpacesEDU account
Select the lock icon at the left-hand side of the address bar
Under Permissions for this site, set Camera and Microphone to Allow
Don't see these options? Try capturing a photo or video, and select 'allow' when prompted
SpacesEDU App - Android
Open the Settings app on your device
Select Apps
Select SpacesEDU from the list of applications
Select Permissions
Ensure that Camera and Microphone are set to Allow only while using the app
Reopen the Spaces app
SpacesEDU App - iOS
Open the Settings app on your device
Scroll down and find SpacesEDU in the list of apps on the left-hand side
Ensure that Microphone and Camera are toggled on under 'Allow SpacesEDU to access'
Reopen the SpacesEDU app
