To take advantage of many features within Spaces, you will need to allow access to the camera on your device.

The first time you access your camera from Spaces, a prompt will appear to allow the permission - select Allow, and you are ready to get started. The pop-up may look different depending on the device you are using, but it is typically something like this:

If you have accidentally selected 'block,' or you are encountering issues with capturing photos or videos, follow the instructions for your device/browser below to update permissions.

Google Chrome (Windows / Mac OS)

  1. Log in to your Spaces account

  2. Select the lock icon at the left-hand side of the address bar

  3. Click Site settings

  4. Confirm the Camera and Microphone are set to Allow

  5. Return to your Spaces account and Reload the page

Safari (Mac OS)

  1. Log in to your Spaces account

  2. Click Safari in the top menu bar

  3. Select Settings for this Website...

  4. Set Camera and Microphone to Allow

  5. Reload the page

Safari (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Log in to your Spaces account

  2. Tap the 'aA' button at the top left of the screen

  3. Select Website Settings

  4. Set Camera and Microphone to Allow

  5. Tap Done and reload the page

Edge (Windows)

  1. Log in to your Spaces account

  2. Select the lock icon at the left-hand side of the address bar

  3. Under Permissions for this site, set Camera and Microphone to Allow

    1. Don't see these options? Try capturing a photo or video, and select 'allow' when prompted

Spaces App - Android

  1. Open the Settings app on your device

  2. Select Apps

  3. Select Spaces from the list of applications

  4. Select Permissions

  5. Ensure that Camera and Microphone are set to Allow only while using the app

  6. Reopen the Spaces app

Spaces App - iOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your device

  2. Scroll down and find Spaces in the list of apps on the left-hand side

  3. Ensure that Microphone and Camera are toggled on under 'Allow Spaces to access'

  4. Reopen the Spaces app
